While I would have loved to stay in that bed all day and fuck my husband. I needed to get up. I wanted him to have some energy left for tonight. Looking at the clock, Desiree would be here in about seven hours or so. Nico and I needed to get up shower, dressed and we also needed to eat. I wanted to get a drink or two in my system before she even got here to calm down my nerves.

I got up and took a shower. Once I was done, he got in right after me. An hour or so later we got up and went to the restaurant downstairs and ate breakfast. We decided to lay low and rest for most of the day, so we went back up to the suite and laid out on the sofa and watched a few movies. After awhile I noticed that it was six in the evening. Desiree would be here in an hour or so. I didn’t want to be rushing around or make her wait for me to get ready so I got up off the couch.

“Where are you going?” Nico asked. “I’m going to get freshened up. Desiree will be here in about an hour or so maybe less. She’s always super early” I said walking to the bathroom. Nico on the other hand just laid out on the couch and continued to watch Bruce Almighty. Twenty minutes later my teeth were brushed, face washed, some light makeup added and I curled my hair a little bit. I shut the water off and heard voices. Shit, she was here already. Desiree got on my nerves with that shit sometimes. I wanted to have a drink in my system before she got here, but I guess that wasn’t going to be happening.

I checked myself in the mirror one more time before walking out of the bathroom. I saw Nico and Desiree sitting in the living room of the suite talking. I walked up to them and noticed that Desiree was a bit more dressed than Nico and I were. Nico was wearing jeans and a t-shirt and I was wearing a tank top with a long maxi skirt. Nico had on some sneakers whereas I was wearing some slippers. Desiree had on some kind of dress.

“Wow, I think I’m overdressed” she said and we all started laughing. We sat down and talked for a few minutes before Nico got up to make us drinks. He could tell that I was nervous and he wanted to help relax me. He went over to the bar that was in the suite. “Uh oh” he said. “What?” I replied. “All the ice is gone. I forgot to get some more this morning. I’ll go get us some more” he said grabbing the ice bucket and walking towards the door. “I’ll do it” I said jumping up and walking over to him. “No baby. I got it” he said. “No. I’ll do it. I need some air” I said snatching the ice bucket out of his hand and walking out of the room.
